Well, as you have all noticed, there are never any blogs, and we cannot make any new bloggers. So, GIT came up with this system to improve blog activity! All you have to do is submit your blog to my e-mail; karatekingWI@gmail.com with your name. I'll then post the blog on the front page of the site, and say something like 'By: ____' at the end or beginning. Remember, the blogs can be anything about games, summer, or anything else you want to do!

The exam will take place today, possibley throughout the week if needed.

Today is a special day. Some people call it Remembrance Day, others call it Veterans Day, and some people even call it Poppy Day. Today is a day to remember sacrifices people made in the wars. On November 11, 1918, on the eleventh hour World War I officially ended. On this day, please remember to take a moment of silence at 11:00 AM and remember all the soldiers that sacrificed their lives in the war. Hope you have a nice day! :)

Bre!

Congratz to Bre for a fabulous job! The GIT picked up right away on Bre's kindness towards others and friendly vibe. What can we say? She's a real fun girl to be around! Whether it's her very stylish icons or her chatting, she rocks.

Bre have improved so much since she first arrived on the Island. Everyone is very proud of her and we love her so much! Great job, Bre! You totally deserve this!

Okay, so I know there are at least 100 Twilight lovers on GI. So I'm here to tell you there will be a Twilight movie [based off the FIRST book only] coming out on 11.21.08. So I know alot of you guys are excited for the new movie, as I am :D . I'm still reading book 1 [I know I read slow] and I'm about half way through. And I'm already addicted to it :P Actually, my teacher at my new middle school reccomended it to me :) So I know its really popular because now that I have it, all my friends and family are reading it :P So you guys should totally check out the movie and I hope ya like it :D

New Game Stixs!

              Hey Everyone! Have you heard about the new game Stixs? This new game system lets you play tones of games on your computer. They are just like Wii but you use them on the computer. You buy games on the computer. There are tones of games to choose from and then you play just like a Wii.

GI Space Contest!

Hi everyone! There's a new official Gamez Island Contest starting.. Best GI Space Contest! All you have to do is go to the page called "GI Space" and click "Create my Profile"! Then edit it to make it super cool. We'll decide the winner on September 1st, 2008. So start working now! We have two simple rules though.

1. Do not copy off of other people's GI Spaces.
2. No inappropriate stuff on your GI Space.

Have fun! The winner will get 750 points towards earning big prizes that will soon be announced!

After hearing all of the hype about the new installment in the 'Harry Potter' phenomena, most people will be surprised to hear that its release date, formerly November 21, 2008, has been moved into July of next year.

On August 14th, Warner Brothers, the distributor for the movie, announced the change in plans. However, the movie is 100 percent on schedule. "The picture is completely, absolutely, 100 percent on schedule, on time. There were no delays," Horn, the president of Warner Bros, said. "I've seen the movie. It is fabulous. We would have been perfectly able to have it out in November."

So what caused the delay? It could have been released in November, true, but the whole reason behind it was the Writers Guild of America strike. It affected the line up for movies this coming summer, and left a key slot, the same one that held 'Dark Knight', the second best selling movie since 'Titanic', this year.

So yes, you have to wait a little longer to see the sixth film in the Harry Potter story. But then again, it means a shorter wait from the sixth to the first and second parts of movie seven, scheduled to come out November 2010, and summer of 2011.

The new scheduled release for 'Half-Blood Prince' is July 17th, 2009.

Bowzer captures Princess Peach and they go into the Galexy... Mario is sent there to help them and you have to go on all sorts or planets.. And it even includes great Wii features!
